to have fun at Waileas resorts. Special clubs and supervised
programs for children ages five to 12 are designed around learning
and playing, with emphasis on Hawaiian culture and nature. Most
programs run six days a week, and lunch is included in the fee.

The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui
Your kids will give high marks to Keiki Lani, the resorts
year-round childrens program featuring fun and educational
activities for keiki. Among the activities offered are hula and
lei-making lessons, nature walks, kite flying, building sandcastles,
and swimming in the resort pools, which feature a 140-foot waterslide.

Four Seasons Resort Maui
at Wailea
At check-in, kids ages 5 to 12 receive a personal invitation to
attend the complimentary Kids for All Seasons program. The lineup
of activities includes hula classes, lei-making lessons, Hawaiian
storytelling, and arts, crafts and games. Kids can frolic in the
lagoon pool with a small waterslide. The Games Room in the Lower
Lobby offers Super Nintendo, Sony PlayStation and arcade games.
A complimentary scuba clinic for kids 12 years and up is available;
snorkel and whale-watching excursions offer special kids rates.

Grand Wailea Resort Hotel &

The 20,000-square-foot Camp Grande is a paradise for children. Activities
include sand sculpting contests, guided tide pooling and nature
walks, and Hawaiian games. Workshops for adults and children include
lei making, ukulele lessons, lau hala weaving and hula. Little ones
can splash in the Whale Wading Pool, and kids who meet the height
requirements can enjoy the waterslides. Night Camp includes dinner
and supervised activities such as Walkie Talkie Tag. Teen programs

Children can enjoy interactive classes on Hawaiian arts, crafts,
music, dance and nature at the Cowabunga Kids Club. The club
is equipped with Macintosh computers, and activities include sand
art, lei making, guided tide pooling and more. Kids who stay three
nights or more receive an Island Explorer Kit, which contains guidebooks
and other materials for self-guided exploration of the shoreline

Youngsters have fun while learning more about Hawaiian culture,
ecology, conservation and wildlife at Camp Wailea. Recreational
specialists conduct a variety of activities, including hula and
lei-making lessons, tidepooling, coconut painting and whale-watching
classes in season. A wide range of water sports is offered through
the Activities Center, including snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing
and kayaking. Kids might even get a chance to perform in the Wailea
