Sokala Villas is situated on a corner of Rarotonga's beautiful Muri beach. The seven villas look out across the lagoon to uninhabited palm-lined islands, over which the sun and moon rise. Five of the villas have their own swimming pool giving you the option of a fresh water swim or a dip in the saltwater lagoon.

The rustic log cabin exteriors are complimented by pine-walled and slate floor interiors. Each villa features a spacious timber deck, just the place for relaxing with a cool drink and a good book. The villas have one bedroom each that feature a hand hewn four-poster kingsize bed. If you want to eat in, each villa has a small kitchenette, and if you want to eat out the award-winning Flametree Restaurant is just next door. Along the beach is the Sandals Restaurant, the Barefoot Bar, and Sails Restaurant.

Sokala is a tranquil and quiet setting and is a perfect beach resort for honeymooners, anniversary couples and those looking for a relaxing, romantic holiday. The lagoon and islets form a picturesque background for small romantic weddings. There is a good selection of places for the ceremony-right on the beach; beside a small rock garden or even on the deck of your villa.
